Nursegrid

As a founding member of NurseGrid, I played a crucial role in the company’s growth and success across nearly seven years. As VP of Nursing (July 2019 – March 2020), I guided product development, sales, and customer success, while expanding NurseGrid’s network of over 1 million nurses. Earlier, I served as Acting President & COO, overseeing strategic decisions and Board communications during a leadership transition.

In my role as Head of Marketing (2017-2019), I scaled the team, managed a $400k annual budget, and enhanced the brand’s presence by organizing industry conferences. I also led marketing partnerships and drove thought leadership efforts.

As Head of Customer Success, I expanded the support and account management teams, including a pilot program for a Fortune 200 company. As a founding team member, I helped secure $1.2M in seed funding and launched NurseGrid’s brand from scratch, establishing a strong market entry for the company.

A key highlight of my work includes crafting a weekly email newsletter that reaches over 300,000 clinicians, providing valuable insights and fostering a sense of connection and loyalty among our healthcare professionals.

In each campaign, I emphasize our brand’s core values of authenticity, trust, and clinician-first advocacy, ensuring that our messaging resonates deeply with our audience. My work goes beyond marketing—I’ve played an active role in advancing Stability Healthcare’s tech-driven, customer-focused innovations. By refining user experience, fine-tuning our messaging, and fostering a culture of innovation, I am committed to keeping healthcare travelers at the forefront of our brand’s mission.

BALA Footwear

At BALA Nurse Shoes, as the sole full-time marketer, I was responsible for developing the brand’s voice from the ground up and crafting a compelling narrative that resonated with healthcare professionals. My work was instrumental in leading BALA from obscurity to a breakthrough $1M pre-sale campaign, followed by impressive multi-million-dollar sales within the first six months—all achieved with minimal ad spend.

A highlight of my tenure was co-writing and assistant-directing a Telly Award-winning viral commercial that quickly gained over a million views. I also managed and grew BALA’s social media presence, launched email campaigns, and spearheaded strategic partnerships. Additionally, I led our signature color drop campaigns, bringing creativity and fresh energy to each product release, which helped build strong customer anticipation and engagement.

Through these initiatives, I played a key role in establishing BALA Nurse Shoes as a trusted, go-to brand for healthcare professionals, turning a bold vision into measurable success.
